breeding boas

i have a nicaragua and a columbian boa, has anyone bred these species together?
or does anyone have any ideas on this topic

you want get many answers ppl dont like hybrids.
That would absolutely NOT be a hybrid in any sense of the word, as both Nicaraguan and Colombian Boas are Boa constrictor imperator. They not only are the same species, but the same SUBspecies as well. Unless you're getting imported animals, or at least from a very reputable breeder, chances are any BCI's you buy in the US are going to be mixtures of different localities, anyway. Getting an imported snake from a particular country is the only real way to guarantee you are getting a pure Colombian, or Honduran or Nic or whatever. They are all BCI's.

hah - - so that's why I can't tell the difference between the two - - there really isn't that much of a difference :eek:
