I bought about 40 nymphs from a reptile show about a month ago and I fed them all off. Now I am left with four males and four females. I have read that you should have about one male for every four females. So should I feed my spiders three of the males and just leave one in there?

They will all be fine. I would leave all 8 in there and keep them well fed and cozy. Before long you will have around 150, and some months after that maybe 900, and so on.

Thanks I'll leave them together. Hey what do they look like when they are breeding, do the males just climb on to the females just like lobsters do?

I keep about a 1/3 ratio in my colony but with your numbers I would also say keep all the males just incase. They dont have a very long lifespan compared to the females.

Hey guys, I saw some of my dubia breed last night. How long would it be until she gives birth?
