Hi,
These are fast becoming my absolute favourite tarantula, mmmmmmmm :)

Unique species currently undescribed from the Selenocosmiinae.

Really nice, Steve!
Do they go by an unofficial handle?
I love the color of the male! Glossy silver...mmmm...together, the pair look like a YinYang. Sweet! I'm assuming, though, that the silver color didn't show up until the ultimate molt?

Hi,
@ Dragoon, no handle yet, they've only just been found and are very new to us down under ;) The silver colour of the male does not show up until ultimate instar/maturing moult, until then he is coloured like the females, lilac-black with brick red setae and leg striation.

@ Erik, the attitude is hearty!! These are a beautiful species, very thickset.

Cheers,
Steve
