I've had a love for spiders since I was a child, and often find myself browsing websites and reading about different species, in doing so, I came upon this: Caresheet for a Brazilian Wandering Spider

While I can certainly appreciate the desire to have unique and exotic species in your collection, that would just freak me out. I think the bit about, "If you get bit, you may very well die" just isn't for me.

Has anyone here ever kept one of these? Call me morbidly curious, but I'd love to hear about it.

search this sub-forum for 'phoneutria,' there are a lot of people who keep them.

With any decent medical care, your chances of dying are probably just above none. Not to say that it would be a walk in the park though. :D
