Brachypelma baumgarteni info?

Can anyone tell me about their B. baumgarteni? In the pics it looks like a boehmi with a different carapace :? Any comments you have about yours would be appreciated also!!!

Brachypelma Baumgarteni

Baumgarteni has much lighter legs.Thay are more orange then red.Boehmei
legs are a much darker red.Boehmei has a small amount of black around the
eyes and baumgarteni has a carapace like smithi.At about 2 1/2 to 3 inchs
thay start to get black in there carapace and get more black everytime thay
molt.Baumgarteni are much calmer then Boehmei and its rare for them to kick
hair.Boehmei will kick hair anytime you disturb there container.I have 26 adult
female Boehmei and 11 adult female Baumgarteni.So I know what I'm talking

pictures.Thay show there a couple of color phases.I only have 1.

Satellite rob knows his stuff on these beauty's! I got three from him last month. They are so pretty. Harder to find the the B. boehmei and alot calmer. You can google a picture or you can p.m. me and i can send you a picture of my 5 inch female.

The max out at about 6 1/2 inchs and if you power feed them I males up to
4 inch in 11 months.Females are a grow slower.I have them to 3 1/2 inch plus
in 11 months.So thay grow pretty fast for Brachy's.If you have any more
questions.I'll keep track of this post and try to answer quick.

This one just moulted on 1-17-09.She still needs to darken up.But she is
about 5 1/2 inchs.She is about 3 years old and ready to breed.She will
darken up a little in the next few days and in the next month.She will gain
her weight back she lost in her moult.

I'm currently in the process of getting one of Rob's female slings. They seem to be a pretty cool spider. From the pics I've seen they have a dark carapace unlike boehmei and also have lighter legs like Rob said. I also noticed that like a smithi or annitha the stripes on their "knees" stand out and are much darker orange than the rest of the leg segments. Can't wait to get my female they look like another awesome brachy!!!!!

Can you take a picture of the flash stripe that is on the metatarsus?
I figured because that was one of the major defining characteristics of this species you would have avoided taking a top shot like that.
I'd love to see that.
Also interesting that yours has almost no black on the carapace.

Hey wow dude, wake up on the wrong side of the bed?:? I am just comparing specimens through the photographs which is why I was asking for specific pictures. I did not realize I challenged you into some kinda of manhood thing.
And no I don't want you to grab a freshly molted T that would be stupid, I want you to get 1 of the the other 10 females you say you have and photograph that. The more I can compare to the better.
