My curly haired adult tarantula hasn't eaten since I first got him about a year. I bought him on a black Friday deal and came with an enclosure. I haven't rehoused him (unsure of sex but his name is Curtis regardless lol) or did any major changes to his enclosure. I am new to the hobby and would appreciate any advice. He did molt about a month ago but destroyed the molt, so I still am unsure of the sex. Is it normal for this species to go so long without eating? I attached some pics of him!

Curtis looks healthy. Still rather plump considering the recent moult. Keep offering occasionally but overall, top up water and wait! It's a confounding little black box :D

Ole Curtis Loew don't want roaches, he wants a fifth of wine to sip while he plays you the blues 👍

Abdomen looks fine, looks like a healthy spider. Sometimes they just fast

Plump Ts don’t eat unlike plump humans.

Your setup looks too tall for a terrestrial species esp a heavy bodied one. Hard to tell in that pic

If it falls from climbing it will die
