My two 3.5" P. cambridgei have become really active during the day lately. I was watching one rebuilding her home (some inconsiderate giant destroyed it) :? and saw her toss a cricket bolusk a good 6 inches across the critter keeper! Using it's pendipalps it flicked it out of it's mouth. It was pretty cool and my first time witnessing it.

Maybe that explains how they always get the food remains in the water dish. Kind of like a little game of tarantula basketball :D

It did the same thing with dirt when digging out her house.

well my 6" chevron isnt very active but she does fling her bolusks and i have even seen her attach a bolusk to a plant i used to have in there. It was kinda cool to see the bolusk hanging from the plant by a thin thread of silk.

peace
