Blue Death feigning beetle diet?

i just got three beetles and have been getting so much mixed information about their diet. some people said they can have fruits, some say they can’t, etc. Any tips?

Mine like carrots, apples, potatoes, strawberries, bananas, etc, then some days they change their mind and prefer something else for a week or two so I keep it mixed up. It’s all good stuff I try to have for myself; try small pieces of everything and watch them to see what they prefer/remove what they don’t seem to like. They’re little garbage trucks so I’ve given zucchini, melon, sweet potato and more, all with much success!

I've read that in the wild they mainly eat dead insects and other biological detritus so dried mealworms are good to provide protein.
