Hi, I’ve had my beetles a few months, I have 5 (only just got 2 more today) in a 40” exoterra cube, with 2 heat bulbs in the lamp above and a heat mat on the side, the warm part is 27-20C and the cooler part is 25-17C, night and day fluctuation, although it is getting colder now its winter.
2 of my beetles I haven’t seen in a few days, I’ve looked under most of their hides, although I built a cave in their tank and I can’t see the back of that.
Today I pulled the tank forward and found one of the beetles had burrowed a couple inches down into the sand and was in a little cave thing.
I’m really worried, should I leave her there? Or should I dig her out? But what if that causes the sand to collapse and crush her?
