well I gave it a good thump on the head to disable it and then I threw its twitching body in front of the blondi.

nope just a straight finger flip to the head and bam the mouse goes stiff and toss it in.

Man, the worst thing I've done with my spiders so far was to give my A.Geniculata an adult mouse. (Prekilled) (EDIT: it said 'moose' instead of 'mouse') It took36 hours or so and my WHOLE spider room (unfortunatley my bedroom!) smelt like mouse carrion :/ Like the smell of the seaside; the smashed crabs and garbagey thing.

Yuk!

Removing the bolus that was stuck to the glass was worse; the huge ball of crap burst and some oozey stuff came out the middle. Squeemish I'm not, but bad smells make me wretch!

Anyway, I changed the substrate etc.

Needless to say I havn't fed mice to my spiders recently

well I Usually take the bolus out as soon as she is done with it and it only takes her around 12 hours to finish. so it doesn't stink too bad. but I know what you are talking about I fed a pinkie to my rose hair and it ate half and burried the rest and I had to fish it out in a few days after I could locate it by smell...nasty

I'm not in the habit of naming my T's but princess does seem to fit her

well this makes her 8th mouse in two months and she has had about 4 half grown hampsters. and a few month old hampsters

dude that thing is a monster seriously, how large is she again did you say about 8inches?? she real aggressive or what?

no not really aggressive. but she doesn't run either she just stridulates, and yeah she is right at 8 inches. butt is around the size of... well a little bigger than a golfball.
