So I paired my Latrodectus hesperus back in November, seen them pair but then she molted a few days later, left them cohabiting and she put some size back on over the next three weeks approximately before I found her eating him. Now she has made a sac but if they did pair again after her molt would it still be viable four and a half months later? F8564034-7D04-45BD-9E93-6182176B347C.jpeg ?

Even if they didn't mate again after the final molt, t's possible she retained sperm from that first pairing, as indicated in this unrelated article here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5046930/ - Unclear on your timeline, but if you're saying the sac was only recently laid despite potentially mating months prior, the reason may be due to the ambient temperature increasing.

She did get moved into a slightly warmer environment about a month ago, she was in a pvc set to 82 and 76night temp and got moved to a 24hr 85degree pvc.
I guess I’ll know soon enough if its a dud or not
