Yes, it's a subadult p.chordatus female. She's very very calm, almost like a curlyhair :)

in this size it should be an adult female. ;)

Nice colour variant of P. chordatus and good pictures. :)

Timo, I haven't written anything about her size ;) She is about 4,5-5 cm (body lenght), maybe adult :)

yes, but you showed picture and the spider on the pictures looks adult and almost full grown. ;)
She is defently adult!

Juvenile Pterinochilus chordatus looks very different.

Incredible pics!!!! Does that specie spin as much web as p.murinus? It doesnt seem as arboreal... and its defenetly a beauty...

Hi Phil,

no, they are more borrower. P. murinus is very opportunistic and will take all as retreat even aboreal enclose. ;)
P. chordatus is more an burrowing species that makes nice holes in the soil and live there. They mostly cover the substrate with silk, but not as P. murinus.
