Nhandu Coloratovillosus, no idea why they have birdeater in the name though that's generally reserved for big T's, these get to 6 inches at a maximum

Is it possible that’s a Genic? They’re considered bird eaters
There called a giant white knee I'm sure, never seen it being called a birdeater though. The Black and white bird eater or Brazilian black and white is the Nhandu Coloratovillosus that's assuming they used the correct common name obviously, if they just looked at the T and named it that, it very well could be A Geniculata.

In that case this conversation has moved on from talking about the scientific name of a common name and has now become Tarantula Identification. @Mushusmum Post you're photo where @Ultum4Spiderz has provided the link for.

He/she is getting brave.. lol I was sat wondering how long it would take to get a good look at sausage.. and guess who came out and sat looking at me... Once the little dude has recovered from travel I wan to add more substrate. There's only a thing layer at the moment.. possibly so customers in the shop can get a good look…I think I’ll wait a couple of moults then put a photo on the identify spider section right now he/she measures about 1.5 inches dls so I have plenty of time to make sure before I label the enclosure
