Hey, i know i keep posting questions about roaches and stuff, but they are just to kool Does anyone have B. craniifer? If so, how do you keep them, and any pictures? Thnx
I keep Blaberus craniifer, I keep them fairly humid, they have leaf litter/mulch and coco humous for substrate, with moss and pieces of cork bark for them to hide under, I give my ones various fruits and vegetables.
I use coconut fiber as a bottom substrate for mine, and also keep a few empty TP rolls on top for them to cling to when they molt. They love Agar, sweet potatos, kale, carrots, and bananas. I havent had the best luck with them so far, I think mostly because its so dry where I am from. Humidity definatly seems to be the key with alot of Blaberus sp.
Heres a pic of my craniifer, i have both the Black wing and European light wing Craniifer. They both breed exceptional and max out at the same size of a Orange Head.
Oh, cool I'm thinking about getting them. Basically, i breed frogs, so i want a food source, for that it's either lobster roaches or green bannana roaches. After that i just want to expand my invert collection a little, either some exotic south american species, or some more species of hissers. I really like the Peppered Roach, and same with all the kinds of hissers(very easy going.
