Will a male giganteus mate with female cranifers? If they do, how many times can they mate, and how many times can the females get pregnant from the same male? Will the offspring be deformed due to different species breeding?

Well you see, mixed in with my female cranifers and female giganteus was a male giganteus, I got him on valentines day (not knowing the gender), but didnt think he would breed since only the cranifer are mature. If they breed I will keep one or two, but dont know what to do with the rest, mabye I will just give them to the petstore I got the male?

Since the rest of the roaches are all female, he has them all to himself, is there going to be a plague of roaches at my house now, lol.

It is likely only B.fusca and B.craniifer can cross since they have similar genitalia and are considered to be different looking strains of the same species by some taxonomists. Since B.fusca resemble B.giganteus some have claimed crosses mistaking fusca for giganteus. Keep us updated but it's extremely unlikely you'll see a cross of those species (unless your B.giganteus is actually a B.fusca).

Oh yeagh, nobody knows what the original parents were (except that the black were the Case craniifer strain) so the 'hybrids' may actually be a cross of two different color forms of B.craniifer rather than B.fusca X B.craniifer.

Ok thanks, if anything interesting happens you can be sure i'll post about it.

I did notice my cranifer females pushing eachother to see who is allowed to rest closest to the male giganteus, but the male just sits there and sleeps. I guess the females hormones are raging, lol.
