Better for who, what, why - subjective ie uselessWhich species should i buy first between these two bc im having a hard time deciding as both of them have very unique colours. So which one do you guys think its better?
Are you trying to end the "what should I get?" threads on these forums? Can the forums take a 25% loss in threads?Better for who, what, why - subjective ie useless
Commit and own your decision.
I heard that Birupes is a fast growing species.I have both. A. mooreae have the normal growth rate of a Aphonopelma - slow. Birupes simoroxigorum bolt more than any other T. I own, so have a catch cup handy if you get one. Actually, Birupes are kind of slow growing too (for a OW, anyway). I personally slightly prefer Birupes as they obtain their adult colors quicker. Hope this helps.
they should be phrased more specifically. Such as dropping in the traits one is concerned about- I know that’s a crazy idea!!!!!!!Are you trying to end the "what should I get?" threads on these forums? Can the forums take a 25% loss in threads?![]()
Have you kept OW species before?Which species should i buy first between these two bc im having a hard time deciding as both of them have very unique colours. So which one do you guys think its better?
mine aren't, not compared to other OW's any way.I heard that Birupes is a fast growing species.
Agreed, I would love to have a A. Mooreae but at that price point I can get 3 other nice species. Plus if you wait a few years you can find people that no longer want them and will be selling larger ones for less money, make out like a fat rat.depends do you want OW or NW that could play a big part. Also how much money do you want to spend for what youre getting? Id personally go with something cheeper and add a couple more over paying the cost of just one B. simoroxigorum or an A mooreae. Thats just me im not into spending a lot of money on just one spider id rather get a few if im dropping some dimes.
Defintely, plus I could never justify spending the kind of money people are asking for an A. mooreae given how damn slow it grows..... aparently glacial..and the fact that, like you said in a few years youll find them for much cheaper when people get bored of them, and hopefully the price will drop too. I think poeple get conned sometimes paying over $300 for one spider that is a sling....No thank you, ill place a nice size order for that much!Agreed, I would love to have a A. I could have bought one that was about an inch and change but was too priceyI have. 5 inch A. mooreae sling that just went 163 days between molts.... Take that for what it's worth. It will be years before your see color on that thing.
