I have a kind of silly question- do you have cats over there called american shorthairs? are they common, i mean? I've never personally seen a british shorthair here (and I've seen a lot of kitties between my job and rescue work). I know they have a different build. just wondering, sorry to derail your thread...

No never really seen a American s/h over here, but i do like the breed. Dont think they are very common over here, but sure they are here.
