Good ol' Limax maximus! Biggest slug species in the world, they are invasive from Europe and can get up to 12" in length.

Thanks,

I've seen them on the north west coast competing with banana slugs. Not as large around but longer.

Invasive species need to go- bring on the salt
Nah, they are spread all across the east and northwest coasts and haven't really caused much in way of ecological harm according to the studies I've seen. Besides, arguably most slugs to be found in the USA are going to be invasive, whether L. maximus, Limacus flavus (<--which is actually endangered in its native range last I saw), or any of the myriad garden slugs; of course, this doesn't mean that we shouldn't work to remove them but when they are as widespread as they are and for the most part aren't causing major damage to native species (mostly targeting agriculture) I'd say it would be better to focus eradication efforts elsewhere.
