Kevo,
What a beast! it is a beauty! How do you house such a large creature?
One question I have always wondered about keeping these larger constrictors. I want to word this right as I am in no way questioning your ability to keep these creatures but, what happens if one day you pick it up and it decides that it is hungry or just attacks for no reason?
Ern: Yeah he was raised from a baby took about 4yrs to get that size.
Richard: You keep it just like any other python, just scale everything up.
Always have two strong knowledgable adults available when handling, don't panic remain calm and oh yeah a bottle of aftershave at the ready. You can never trust a wild beast so don't. =D
your a brave man to handle those things! mainly the fake cobra and the 15 footer.. not sure about the cobra but i KNOW that 15 footer can man handle you to death! that's mostly muscle right there! i get nervous handling an 8 inch sand boa who's girth is no more then half an inch!
and i imagine that cleaning up after that 15 footer after it poops is crazy!
Never heard of the false water cobra before, it looks like a boa. Pretty little thing. I had herps before tarantulas. Had a lovely female red tail boa that got too big for me to handle. I'm only 5 ft.
She was over 8 t. I guess girls get large quickly, so I had to find her someone who was bigger to take care of her. At least the tarantulas and scorpions don't get as large, but they aren't as smart.
