Can Ts with very large abdomens have complications during molts?

I keep most of my T's on the chubby side, and I haven't had a molt problem yet.

All of my Ts have big butts. I like to keep them well fed. I have never had a problem with molts. All of my slings are just butts with legs and they are growing very well. I think that you just get into molt issues if there isn't enough moisture, or your dealing with the much larger Ts, such as a T. blondi. My female Rosie has a nice bounce to her butt and she is as healthy as can be.:p

Most problems come from improper moisture levels (too wet/dry) large abdomens are some times a problem for the largest of species.

I've heard that external moisture levels don't matter, that its all about internal moisture levels (properly hydrated).

not true external humidity is important to a degree.
I agree with you; I have witnessed roaches get stuck in their molts when the humidity is too low and I assume the same can happen to an extent with ts
