I'm getting a couple Damon diadema, 'bout 2". And was wondering what ya'll think would be the best to house them in? I know their chances aren't too great they'll eat each other, but at $25 a piece, it's seems a bit risky.
So I'm thinkin', does a large (16 oz.+) deli cup with a hotglued screen lid sound good?

And for those of you that keep these guys, 'bout how long will it take them to mature?

I have kept mine in 2.5 gallon tanks with a glass top, coco bedding on the bottom and a few pieces of cork. They also do fine in petpals with saran wrap on top with a few ventilation holes. Humidity is critical at this stage, a change when they are molting could cause them to get stuck or loose legs or whips?

It will be about 3-4 yrs before they mature.

Bye the way, where are you getting these little one's from?

Thanks,
mike
