Best way to hang/set up Mantis ooths?

I’ve decided to hatch out some Tenodera sinensis ooths this spring before I take a swing at breeding some other species in the summer. These ooths were mailed to me, so they aren’t hanging upside down like they need to be for hatching. What’s the best way to attach them to a twig or piece of bark without risking damage to the nymphs when they hatch?

What I did:

I simply placed them on surface. They hatched with no problem.

I hatched some. I believe they have a paste to put on a branch any you put the branch in a tall deli cup incubator

I use hot glue to a fabric lid.
