A bunch of people use Poland Spring water bottle caps which are very shallow and dry out easily.

Others use tattoo ink caps, including myself in some instances. They work nice for very small slings.

I find the best style water bottle cap is the one pictured. You can find these at Walmart in the drinks section for 78 cents each. While they do seem expensive, they do a really nice job of staying full.

I have witnessed 0.5" slings drinking from these dishes with no issue.

All our bottle caps used to be like that, now to help recycle they are attached to the bottle, still useable with a little trimming but there not as deep as they used to be like those ones. 1737572284374200980552329220507.jpg

Yeah I hate these new designs. I went to Morocco two weeks ago and they had the proper ones like original ones. Hopefully they don’t start doing this rubbish ones with milk tops here in the UK soon too 🤯

Those look good too!
Yeah Im just gutted they changed them though there about 2mm shallower than the old ones I know it's not much but can be the difference of a day or so. How dare they try and save the planet with recycling, no consideration for us T keepers lol. I'm not sure if England are the same but here in Scotland all the bootles are like that now, very rare to find bottles with the good caps.
