Best surface for pinheads????? :?

OK, I get a lot of pinheads in my 40 gallon tanks but recently I am putting separate containers containing eggs into large tupperwares. Should I put anything on the bottom of the container to ensure the survival of the pinheads??? Should I leave it bare with just some food or put some dirt along with egg cartons??

Ay ideas or suggestions??

I have several containers loaded with eggs, should have pins in a few more days.
