What was your best craigslist or newspaper type score?

Mine was a woman that bought a GBB a long time ago at a reptile expo as a VERY small sling. She posted that she had an adult GBB for sale for $100 with cage, OR trade for a spider that could be handled.

I seem to NEVER have money due to kids and hobbies lol, so I made an offer of my Rose Hair T that was VERY handle-able. She said she would want to see it first, to make sure it looked healthy and stuff so we met, and her GBB was hidden in the tank so I let her look at mine, and she wanted it so we traded.

When I got home I opened up the cage to find a mature Female Green Bottle Blue. I traded it even for a Rose hair and tank!

Only downfall, about an hour drive through the city I lived in to get to her side. (small price to pay!)

oh! i also got my half grown male arg B&W tegu with cage for $100

I almost never can find animals I'm looking for. Let alone good deals.

Never see any T's or snakes im interested in (too bad I'm not that into balls cause theres about a million on there.)

Anyways I never can find anyone on there selling tarantulas I guess its because I live in Texas.. Really sucks!! I also see alot of ball pythons on there but they are even more expensive than going to the dang pet store and getting one.. I sure wish I knew how to find them on there..

Not as good as your female GBB trade, but I got a MM L. parahybana including his 10 gallon tank with lid and decor for free from CL. Actually, I felt bad because the guy was pretty much being forced to get rid of it by his wimpy students who wouldn't have it in the classroom and his wimpy family who wouldn't have it at their house, so I gave him some hissers in trade to start a classroom colony.

The male got to meet our lady, and one can never have too many enclosures, so I considered a pretty sweet deal.
