I hate the damn things.
At night they are attracted to any kind of light.
Trying to get in the front door after work they will swarm to the door where the porch light is on. Then trying to get in the door when they are landing on my head in my hair, annoying. They are very audible when flying too.

I've seen those and the Big Dark Green June Bugs also.
They don't start showing up around here until July.

I almost named my daughter June just to call her June bug
that shiny color is gorgeous. K isn’t it crazy we don’t see bugs like we used to? We used to have these MASSIVE monarch butterfly swarms but I haven’t seen barely a handful in a year for the last decade and half. Makes me sad it was such a sight! I can picture seeing hundreds of these guys I would have loved that
