This one is a bit over four feet. I have a larger one that is about 6-7 inches longer than him.ain't it a sweetheart, how big is it
I currently have a male and a female.Nice species! Do you know if you have male / female pair of these? If so, best of luck in reproducing them!
Tri-colored monitor.whats the common name on these?
They get large. Much larger than the current hobby books (Giant Lizards II) states. They need a large cage with room to dig (mine have burrows longer than 3 feet deep), a large pool (the 50 gallon ponds seem a bit small), and climbing areas. They are a very shy species that does not seem to take well to interaction. My larger male will charge me from his cage on a regular basis.I think I already know the answer(s) to this question, but I'll ask anyway; why is this an awful choice for a pet?
