I woke up this morning to my beautiful bearded dragon laying eggs! So far we have a clutch of 12, and she is still going! I'm so excited, but so unprepared. She is not even 12 months old, and I wasn't expecting her to reproduce this year, though she had been excavating alot in recent days-that should have been a signal. Anyway, very excited, though I'm a little apprehensive. Is the fact that she is young going to mean the viability of the clutch may be in question? Will post pics later.

Awesome stuff :D

I'm not sure about how age will affect fertility.

But lucky you anyway. :)
Who is her mate?

My brother's dragon, the aptly named Stumpy. When he was only a baby, he got his tail bitten off by another dragon, hence Stumpy. Doesn't seem to have affected his virility, however!:D I'll post pics of everyone when I get the time.

awesome!

My poor boy hasn't yet seen a female, poor thing. I've seen him try to woo the carpet before. I think I was embarrassed for him!

I must say that my two dragon's 'courtship' phase was extremely weird. I was under the impression it was only the male who does the chasing, biting and thrusting. Instead, it was often my dragon, who eventually laid the eggs, that did the chasing, biting and thrusting.:? Any ideas on what was going on?

Cheers-I moved them into a plastic container filled with vermiculite and was sure to put them in there the position in which they were laid. My friend has a good incubator, so he is incubating them for me.
