...biting your new owner repeatedly. Well, my gorgeous sweet looking beardie has discovered his favorite pastime. Apparently he takes great delight out of biting me every chance he gets. I haven't been reacting when he bites, nor do I toss him back in his home, I try to keep holding him until he is calm. Anybody else have good luck with bitey beardies or am I destined to remain a chew toy?

well depends..how big is the culprit...and it should grow out of it..if he/she is fairly new then its just startled....try just going in the cage for now and petting it..and give it fresh fruits to let it knowthat your a friend not a animal trying to eat it lol..bu you should be good in a week or so..also do your hands smell like produce lol

Hes about 5 mos old.
We've had him several weeks. The previous owner was a kid who didn't feel comfy with his attitude lol. I spend a lot of time hand feeding him so he can equate human with nice friend who brings food. Also, I am careful to only handle him with decently clean hands (washed with unscented handsoap cause I'm paranoid about the perfumes).

Yep, just keep working with him. Several week is not long at all and from the sound of his past owner he has no reason to trust humans yet.
Sometimes the taming process can take months and of course there are the very few BDs that will never tame but I'd bet next year tis time you'll be laughing at your post this time.
