Bean Beetles as Feeders?

Anyone tried using bean beetles as scorp feeders? I'd be using them for small slings as an extra feeder source (timed several projects wrong so I'm probably going to be overrun with several species giving birth at once lol) so there wouldn't be as big a burden as my normal feeder species. Not sure how well they'd work since they're fairly hard bodied, so I lean towards not a great feeder. The larvae wouldn't be easy to get since they'd be in the beans.

I wonder how people feed them to tarantulas then? Is there enough force in the chelicerae/fangs to break the exoskeleton? They might be a better feeder for scorp species that don't need to use venom, but still probably not all that useful.

Maybe I'll start a colony of the ones I find around the lights at work just for fun and freeze the excess.

I have used these for slings as well as the larvae, takes a while to get them going but once you do they are great.
