Is there any tarantulas that live close to the beach or in mangrove swamps?

the Cyriopagopus sp"Sulawesi" is found in trees right next to the beach.

I'm gonna go with no, because of most of their habits. A lot of Ts live in rain forests and areas like that with dense cover to protect them. I know a lot of Ts also live in desert areas as well, but I think the difference lies in the other local wildlife; Tarantulas are just not, by nature, very adept at defending themselves. Sure, they're capable of fending off the occasional larger insect or lizard here and there, but areas like mangrove swamps are just so ripe with snakes, birds and myriad other predators that feed on exactly things like unwary spiders. Even the rodents in the mangroves are particularly saavy hunters.

I could be totally wrong, I have no research pertaining to spiders to back this up, but I lived among the mangroves for a long time and saw a great deal of nocturnal, ground hunting birds and such in my time and never a spider unless it was in my house. And I was looking, believe me.

I'm sure there are B. vagans inhabiting some of the cayes in Belize and they are primarily mangroves and sand.
