BCI or BCC

This boa was sold to me as a BCI but some people on the board said it looked more like a BCC so just wondering what you think he is.

Im not sure. It kinda looks BCI'ish near the front saddles, but the back saddles looks more clean. Guess someone else could be more sure.
Beautiful either way!

There's always the possiblity it's an intergrade between the two as well :eek:

Without a doubt BCC. Looks to be a Guyanan with all that purple coloration.

Its very difficult to ID by a picture, and like Schlyne sad it might be a cross. Gut feeling (for whatever that is worth) I'd say BCC.
David, I've seen guyanas without any purple whatsoever (locality 100% certainty)

How old were the specimens you observed? Most Guyanans do not get the deep purple coloration until they are juveniles/adults.

Seen boths newly born, juvenils and adults

I used to own two Guyanan boas about 2 feet long that resemble yours very much. They are a beautiful snake.
