Does anyone know whether it is possible to preserve things like basket stars, sea spiders, brittle stars, etc., in the same manner as terrestrial invertebrates?

As well as where to purchase specimens of them

preserving em i dunno about i do know if you buy uncured live rock you have a good chance of ending up brittle stars along with the others maybe as hitch hikers on the live rock the only sea spiders i know of were the ones that ate my zoanthid colonies that hitch hiked a ride into my tanks on live rock with frags i bought that survived the quarintine and fresh water baths i used to flush out unwanted critters in the rock

I've seen dried specimens of basket and brittle stars that look pretty good, though I imagine once they're dried out they do get a bit, uh, brittle

Echinoderms dry out nicely for display purposes. I would recommend cleaning them well, or they'll stink terribly.
