lol, Okay, I realize this is a silly announcement, but it's exciting to me.

I got to see my G. rosea eat for the first time. Came home with some crix. Gave them some water and some high protein, organic dog food. Let them have their fill. I tried to tong feed, and I guess Gaia didn't like that idea (she looked confused and just kinda kept touching the tongs) so I dropped cricket next to her. She hunted it down and BAM (as Robc says) she ate it.

Up until now, she had only eaten one cricket, and it just disappeared over night.

I think this is a sign she is getting comfy in her new home :)

My Rosie is still one of my favorites, none other pulls off the fierce but adorable thing quite like him.

Sometimes he attacks crix so hard that he flips over himself and sometimes he practically grabs them midair as I drop them in. Yet when I tong feed him, he just sort of gently takes the crix from the tongs and meanders away. There's nothing wrong with loving a Rosie. <3

Aww

Yes, I love my G. rosea also.
You should try feeding her some mealworms, the regular size, not the super mealworms. I just gave her some yesterday and she went crazy! she put them all in her mouth because she didn't want any to get away....it looked a bit scary {D
