Tell her that they are not much bigger than corns at all, just bulky. And that If you have the room they are just as easy to keep. They are calmer than corns for the most part. Its not offten you see ball pythons exploring like corns do. and they dont try to get out as much as some corns. ... Thats all i can think of.

Tell her it's either that or getting your nosed pierced.

Ball pythons rarely bite (for the most part).

hey, better than your parents not letting you have anything at all.
And trust me, it can become quite a "chore" once you have too many animals, so consider it as them doing you a favor until your old enough to decide for yourself.

RTB are great snakes, but they do get quite larger.

Your ready to have a snake that in two or 3 years will be eating whole rabbits and chickens? Go for a corn snake or a smaller python. Show her some of the cool color morphs. Just because corn snakes don't get huge, they still have better color than almost any other snake.

Edit: Although after seeing rainbow boas, thats the only snake I would ever get. But they still get 4-6 feet long. Thats small rabbit territory.

chicks, maybe...but not adult chickens or rabbits. The most my 4 1/2ft ball python can eat is a medium rat.

No he was saying that his mom woulden't let him get a ball so he was thinking of going to a Red Tailed Boa instead.. Those can get 8ft long and weigh 50-80lbs...

what snakes do you have (or have had) that your parents have been okay with? you can always use a comparison to what you have.

well i thnk someone said this before but corns usually get longer than ball pythons, but ball pythons get bulkier. i think if your parents let you have a corn then they should let you have a ball python. but im not your parents. another thing that works is just tell them the length not that its bulkier and im not telling you to lie either, then you will become like him -------> :liar:
