Bad weekend

Do any of you remember the little ornata we found in a death curl and put in an ICU and then he was fine? Well, he died. He had a large lump on the underside of his abdomen and he didn't eat.
Then tonight while we were feeding, we found our penultimate male ornata dead, he moulted and didn't make it through the moult.
After that we found on of our juvie B. boehmei's dead as well, I just got this one, we had it for 12 days. I have no idea what went wrong.
We put the mature male ornata and the little boehmei in ICU's, I don't know if they will help or not but I wanted to make sure if they could be helped it would happen.
I'm depressed.

Did you open that abdomen to see what the lump was? Maybe albe to tell what went wrong and how to prevent/treat it in the future.

No, I don't know what it could have been and we didn't open him, we probably should have.
Can tarantulas get cancer or tumors or cysts? It really could have been anything.

I'm so sorry, Mina. I really feel for you. I have had some nasty losses lately, too. Last weekend i came home to a dead A avic guarding her undeveloped sac. Death sucks, but it can be a learning experience. Best of luck to you.
