I was wondering because I could imagine that that would keep the snakes constantly on egde... or has someone tried this with no detrimental effects? I'm talking about corn snakes and I know that as soon as my female smells mice she starts looking for them. I could imagine she could get crazy searching for the prey but never getting any closer, but I can't know for sure.
It would be good for me if I could raise mice for 5-6 months thus stocking up on them, but I have no way doing the mouse raising somewhere separate since my flat is too small and I don't even have doors I could close and seal inbetween the two parties.
