not sure what happened with my rabbit this time. last week i found her limp, about just as bad as she was when she was fighting diarrhea a month or so ago. i force fed her pellets in pedialyte (thanks for the pedialyte tip, whoever told me about that, might have made the difference) for two days, and thought sure she would die. she got really bad at the end of the first day but somehow managed to pull through.
i have no idea what was wrong, i don't think it was diarrhea this time. i didn't see any in the cage. at one point when i was forcing liquid into her i noticed her eyes were watery with a lot of fluid that so white it looked like milk. that kind of freaked me out. at that point i tried calling some vets, but there were none that could see her. i ended up wiping a ton of white gunk out of one of her eyes. some of it was almost totally solid and looked like a fingernail.
any ideas of what could have been making her like that? anyways, i'm really glad she pulled through,and just happy to have her back to her normal hyper self.
