good job, but I wouldn't worry too much about a little cannibalization.. widows are known to make multiple sacs from one mating, so you will have more than you can handle likely very soon.. as for feeding, you can feed fruit flies at that stage, but don't feed them for the duration of juveniles life, as it can cause death to spiderlings..I am too tired to give much more advice, but I am sure others will comment as well

Seperate the babies in to small containers, they will feed on pinheads or fruit flies with no problem. You will probably have another sac from your widow within the month, feed her up...

let them cannabilize - it will save you a lot of time consuming headaches later. I find that trying to raise them individually from the very start often results in a lot more die offs than if I had let them cannabilize for a little bit first. The stronger, better eaters is what you are left with. I often let a sac cannibalize itself down to about 6-12 spiders before I separate them (this past fall I got a little lazy as I had 3 sacs hatch and let each sac cannibalize down to just one spider from each so I wouldn't have to separate anything at all lol). Let the babies get a ton of webbing established first before you start feeding them (usually within a month after hatching). I usually start off with just hatched crickets (true pinheads as opposed to places that try to pass off 1/8" crickets as pinheads). The crickets tend to get stuck in the web better than the more fleet-footed fruit flies making it more likely the spiders will have a chance to kill and eat them. After a molt or two, then I start mixing in fruit flies with the crickets.

I used to keep them communally and feed them big dead prey, ie. a cricket or a mealworm.
That way they don't eat each other a lot, and you can raise a lot of slings till they reach a good size to be separed one by one.

i've done both methods (separating, and feeding individually, and letting them stay communally and feeding one big dead meal). to me, the best was the second, let them stay communal for awhile. saved A LOT of 1)time and 2) effort. they will not cannabilize as much and will continue to grow. like others said, feed the female well and you will get another, or many other, sacs.
