what would be best to feed young spiderlings? They are super small (literally only a little bigger then this .) so not sure what to give them. Thanks!

True. Honestly, adorable. All the more reason to let them chow down on each other. Malnourished, few if any of them would survive. With natural selection you are giving a few of them a better chance.

There is also an added bonus. In a synthetic environment, raising as many as possible with alternate food sources will grant a greater survival ratio but at the same time weaken the gene pool/

There's a teensy tiny salticus scenicus on my porch that I've seen snacking on aphids. I would try for super small like aphids, gnats, maybe even fruit flies/moth flies.
