My spider arrived November 19 and hasn’t molted. It’s been five weeks today and idk what I’m doing wrong or if it’s normal for this age?

The website said the jumping spiders were born July of this year 2024. The website says they are on their 3-4th instar and are eating fruit flies.

I’ve been keeping the enclosure moist. But not too moist. Feeding about every other day. Because I can see when he/she is hungry.

is there something I’m missing here?

Why you in a rush for it to moult? The faster it moults the less it's time it's going to live.

Feeding every other day is too much. Did you do research before buying the spider?

Are you temperatures correct? If it's too low, it's going to take much longer to moult.

With jumping spiders in i3-4, I also used to feed some fruit flies every other day and would only slow down once they hit around i6. Jumping spiders are very vulnerable at i3-4 and I prefer to get them out of that phase of their life asap, therefore I don't really think that OP is doing anything wrong here, unless they keep feeding every other day for the rest of the spider's life.

Hun why would I be in a rush for this tiny little thing to molt? I’m asking question because this is my first time with a baby jumper.

It’s not too much actually. I can see when she/he is hungry and will come out for food. I know not to over feed.
