So my mama wolf spier is a wild caught girl. She made an egg sack, and 32 days later, I got dozens of little guys running around XD As expected they chilled with her for a couple weeks and while some are still on her back, most of them dispersed. I released about half of them and will release all except the five I wanna try and raise.

So raising. I purchased 3.25 oz deli cups. Pics attached. I put just one baby in for reference with a damp paper towel. What kind of terrain do they need? Should I stick with moist paper towels peices and change them every other day? Or try with some cocoa fiber substrate? I really want to do them right while still rasising just a few. They're so small and I've never raised slings before lol. So any advice on bedding, food, ventilation, etc would be very appreciated!!! For feeding I'm not super excited about buying fruit flies, so imma try leaf hoppers and the tiny garden flies and see if they can manage them.

EDIT: Yes I plan on housing them individually once I know what I'm supposed to do, just to clarify

Well now I have a couple baby jumping spiders 😂 Picture attached just for you. I tried with a smaller species of jumper babies, but the three I tried to raise didn't make it ;-; I used the same setup for them as my wolf babies (which are doing well). How do you keep your baby jumpers? Paper towel or substrate? Hides? I don't know what to do differently. Thanks :)

I wish I knew anything about raising jumpers but just Try different set ups see which works best . One with sub , one without etc . Hydration being important.

Ooohhh tiny i2 baby!!! I can tell since he still black with a big head😍😍 I’m in love!! I use tiny 2 oz deli cups flipped upside down with a row of holes poked by a needle and holes on the top with a paper towel I soak daily on the bottom. I’ll even glue a pipe cleaner on the side but the ones I have now I have to hand water and feed so I took the pipes out. Once I get back to my hotel I’ll take a pic for u. I keep them this way until i4 or i5 usually i5 I’ll put them in a juice. Some of the tinier species are a little harder to raise for me too more sensitive to heat and cold. But good luck have u named them? I can’t wait to see this little one grow💕
