Well, while rehoming some baby cobalts, an especialy high strung 1 inch individual teleported out of my grasp and is now loose in a very messy room. Why was I rehoming in a messy room instead of the bath tub? I don't know. Anyways I'm looking for suggestions on how to capture it. Any ideas will be appreciated.

The best way to find something, is to not look for it, and just clean. That's just my two sense, take it or leave it.

The messy romm I'm refering to isn't actually messy. Its a combo storage, reptile, tarantula, office, second bedroom. There's just a lot of stuff in there.

Seeing as its a cobalt, its definetly hiding under/inside something. Either look inside every crack & crevice, or wait until like 2-4am when cobalts usually come out of their holes and look around with a flashlight.

Still no sightings I even set booby traps. I don't want to kill the little guy but I can't have my dogs getting bitten or mt wife for that matter. I placed several pieces of double sided tape with roaches attached in hopes that he'd give the easy prey a go. No luck. Any other good ideas out there. I'd love to capture it vs kill it if possible obviously. Some sort of pit fall trap is the only other thing I can think of.thanks for any tips

as for the pitfall idea, maybe a few jars with some type of lubricant (olive oil, vaseline, etc) rubbed on the inside of the mouth of the jar. Of course then you'd also have to find some way to get the top of it to ground level. But who knows, maybe just leaving it near the edges of things that look climbable will do the trick.
