To my surprise (A: thought my scorp was a male. B: it's been alone in it's tank for almost a year) I found my Asian forest scorpion had a bunch of babies on it's back last week. Before I could do much research on what to do and how to take care of them, there were dead babies all over the tank. I cleaned out all the dead babies I saw, waited a few days, then decided to change to entire substrate of my scorp's tank (something I do every few months or so). I removed the scorp, the hide, the water dish. Under the water dish was a surviving baby!
I grabbed the smallest container I could find, put some substrate in it, and put the baby in there. I have no idea what to do next, anyone have any advise on how I can give it a decent chance to survive? Can they eat small dubias at this stage? Should I put a water dish in there or mist the substrate daily?
Any and all advice is welcomed
