So my Brown button spider (L. geometricus) female just laid an egg sac, and since she's probably not going to live MUCH longer, I was thinking of raising some of the babies, google has been of no help how to raise brown widow spiderlings, but I imagine they're quite the same as black widow babies. But I do have a bit of a problem. I do not have access to fruit flies to feed the spiderlings. I do, however, have a mealworm and Dubia roach colony. But those are much to big for the babies, almost even to big for mama, to eat. I've heard of people hatching them and letting them cannibalize, but I really have no idea what I am dealing with. She made the egg sac yesterday, and she is wild, so I'm pretty sure their fertilized. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Haven't kept widows but I've had success feeding pretty tiny spiders with chopped up mealworms.

This. The remaining ones will be a molt or two larger by the end.

I don't normally recommend wild caught prey but in your case you might want to consider gnats or something similar. Usually they are easy to attract.
