Baby american toad...

Niece caught a baby american toad, not sure on the exact species right now but ill figure it out later, or try to. Its very small, maybe 3/4"-1" max. I have it in a terrarium with moist coco fiber. I was thinking of letting it go in the yard but i want to wait until i mow in a couple days before i let it go. So any care tips while i got him? I think ill feed him some tiny 1/8" roaches or something.

It could be a dwarf American toad depending where you live, a pic would be cool, they are little piggies.
