My. P. boreus produced 36 healthy babies that are just a handful. They are ready to go into their own deli cups. Is this a normal amount for a scorpion? I have a P. leiosoma and an A. australis that are due anyday. How many young can they produce? I could not really find any info on the number of young.

It has been stated as maximum count to be around 100 for any species, but most species will not give birth to more than 30 at a time. P. trans, I have seen with precisely fifty young, P. leiosoma, I have never seen with more than 27. Number range of the twenties is quite common and the fewer there are, the larger they tend to be.
