So i just bought my first tarantula, a B. Vagans and before buying it i set its enclosure. However i am voncerned about the size. I dont know if the length between the soil and lid is too small or not. Can you help me please? I will post some pictures.

Yeah that needs a bigger enclosure, if it tries to moult there could be problems with space for it. It's also a Tliltocatl Vagans now there no longer Brachypelma

it's not too bad, it won't harm the spider considering there is plenty of ventilation, but yea it could do with an upgrade
you have time to find one though, no need to skip work and run out to buy one tomorrow, it won't be a problem to stay in there for a few weeks

Haha love it, I'm just imagining using a one of the kids digger toys now as a water dish and set up the time lapse camera to watch them fill it.You could always take a few handfuls of dirt out to give him more free space, he has enough to spare
You could even have him help you by giving him an empty water dish to fill
