Just got home with some crickets. In this batch were some chirping males that were gonna drive me crazy if I didn't do something with 'em and fast. No problemo...my B smithi molted a week ago and is on an eating binge lol. Here it is with 2 of the male crickets

Man, I don't see how you can stand that constant chirping. The males are always the first to die when I get crix.

I personally like the sound of all the chirping but absolutely dispise the smell...so we keep roaches. Is that the same smithi you posted in another forum? She sure looks quite content. :D

Yep, it's the same one. Hehehe I guess we would all be content having a mouth full of crickets like that spider does lol :} {D

hate to hyjack your thread but...

Well I was at a reptile show on Saturday gabbing to James (Greaper) when I noticed the table next to him had 2 adult B. smithi for $60 each. now I am not much of a new world terrestrial kinda guy, but I ended up picking both of them up for $100 including their 5 1/2 gallon homes w/ lids (too bad the guy had them on sand as a substrate ..EW!). it was far too good of a deal to pass up and they look oh so damn fine :D . This is a pic of the smaller one which is prolly 4.5-5 in; the other is more like ~5.5 in. Please notice that this pic was taken before I put them on some fresh peat ;) I also continued to show lack of restraint and picked up a P. rufilata and an A. hurriana (both slings) from James. GOOOOOD weekend!
