B. smithi sexing

In typical fashion, here is my latest B. smithi. I got he/she from a local pet shop for $29.99. He/She is about 3 inches and is in premolt.
I was hoping for some insight as to whether you think he/she is a male or female.

I'm not positive since the pics are so out of focus, but I'm inclined to say you beat the odds and scored a female for that price, nice.

I'd say female. It looks to me that the epigastric furrow is visible between the first set of book lungs toward the front of the T.
